intercooler piping --2.5" or 3"
If i can fit 3" piping under the hood is it worth while?? am i selling my self short by going with 2.5" intercooler piping or is that the going size??Set up has full potential of 600+ hp ..lay down words of wisdom BTW i did search this topic and cant find any info on it ..thanks

for 600hp...then i would go with 3" but are you really gunna run 600hp? if not then the larger piping will hurt, not help.

The most i'd ever go is 2.75" unless this is going to be a full all out drag car pushing over 750whp.

i would stay with 2.5", plus i 've heard smaller piping is better for a bigger turbo. It makes it spool up fast because your forcing more air flow in it. The bigger piping gives it to much room and does not get fulled. But like I said I do not know if its true, its what I heard.

i'm no expert but 3" would be ridiculously thick,
I highly doubt your running the kind of massing hp setup that would warrant that.
remember this isnt cold air intake piping your working with here,
its charge piping

Decent input...thanks tad & 00silverls(sarcastically) i didnt just pull the 600hp figure out of my *** ...and when it comes to racecars ive seen a fair share of them running 3" aluminum pipe.
