intercooler = peace of mind...less chances of detonation...and better performance!

i would use an intercooler just for the piece of mind as stated above me. Its just one of those things that allows you to sleep better at night. BTW i have a intercooler and some civic piping that i will sell if your interested. drop me a pm https://honda-tech.com/forums/images...es/emsmile.gif

Not only for peace of mind but I ran mine down the highway with no intercooler just pipe connecting it and the power difference when I added the IC was amazing! It doesnt need to be some monster 14" tall 3.5" deep beast. Mine is just the simple Greddy type 31.
