Intercooler install

When installing a intertcooler the in/out of the endtanks does it mater which way they are or does it make a difference? I dont know if it maters or if it works both way so you can flip the intercooler. sorry if its a little confusing.

Alright thanks! I going to be picking up this greddy intercooler for my dc2 off of craigs list and I just was not to sure how it work be cause of how the end tanks are designed. I have a link to it if any one wants to give advice on it thanks again
