Integra GSR w/ Drag 3
Hey guys,
I've been thinking of which path to take with my 98 GSR. for a while i've been thinking of going all motor but have recently been contemplating going turbo. I've heard that i could stay legal by going with Greddy but real power is in the Drag and RevHard kits. My problem is, that i know nothing about FI.
So i need help. What do i need to go with a Drag Kit on my GSR in order to make it safe to run good amounts of boost and have everything work properly? What kind of cost and power outputs would i be looking at?
Thanks in advance for all help since i'm a n00b on turbos.

i suggest you learn a little bit more before getting into the FI setup for your car. Its for the best you know.. but once you know the basics of it all... you'll be happy with your decision.

well internal work will always be best in any racing/performance application.
But with just 7lbs daily on your GSR, it should be fine with the stock motor as long as you have the proper fuel setup and tuning such as correct timing, and proper spark plug, etc.
what is your goal for this upgrade? racing? daily driving? more boost later on?
so many factors..

Re: Integra GSR w/ Drag 3 (exospeedAMcrx)
power wise, i'm not sure how much i'm hoping to get.
i want the car to stay street driven so i can cruise around, but still be able to go to the track and put down good times.
I was just looking at the RevHard 2C kit, which is 9lbs. would i need to change out anything with that? because i think 9lbs would be enough, because i'm too poor to go crazier than that As for tuning, that will definatly be done once i have what i need.
Thanks for your help since you're the only one helping me.

i was in your exact situation about 6 months ago, then i just lurked around the forced induction forum alot, reading everyones posts and i learned alot from them, and finally made my choice for Fi... all motor seems too slow for me and agravating.. lol.. anyhow.. yeah and i purchased my custom maxrev kit a while back and im finishing up the parts list almost ready to install... so yeah.. just kick it in the forced induction section and study it.. and a good deal will come along..

The main thing u need to do is figure out how much power u are looking for and what times u want to run. Take it from there to pick out which type of kit u want to run. The greddy would be street legal but of course the drag and revhard would have more potential for more power. Hope that helps, Paul

Re: Integra GSR w/ Drag 3 (TurboD16Z6)
thanks for the info, g_force and turbod16z6
looked up RevHard kit, and their site says 100-120hp increase. i think i'd be pretty happy with that. but i just want to make sure that it will be a reliable setup.
