Default intake temperature gauge vs air temp gauge???

Ok so i was lookin at summitonline.com for a intake temp gauge and i noticed they listed the autometer under "inake temp" gauge and they sell for around $215. then i looked up air temp gauge and they list cyberdyne and nordskog for around $40-60. the autometer is analog and reads ~30-300 while the cyberdyne and nordskog are digital and read ~ -20-200. can the cyberdyne/nordskog be used as intake air temp gauges? and if so why is the autometer more then twice the cost or the cyberdyne/nordskog?
