Intake manifolds; skunk2 vs RevHard
I couldnt even find a post on RevHard manifolds but my dealer swears up and down by them. I could pick a brand new one up for 265 shipped but I keep going through the classifieds and finding skunk2 ones for like 200-250 new shipped.
Anyone have opinions on these; anyone out there running a revhard mani?
The ports look bigger and so do the runners but I dunno....
Thanks!

Re: Intake manifolds; skunk2 vs RevHard (jdmjerk)
If I remember correctly, Edlebrock stopped dealing with JG, so JG went to Revhard or something like that. All I know is that it is very similar to the Victor X manifold, so it should be good for a high reving engine.

i dont have any experince with the revhard, but i did have a skunk2 on my boosted b18c1, and i REALLY liked it. on the butt dyno, it felt like it helped out quite a bit in the mid-top range, and you could tell the engine was breathing quite a bit easier. its a pretty mild manifold, nothing crazy , but a good price and gets the job done.

Re: (GOLDBERG)
I would say there a little more like the JG Edelbrock mani than the skunk2. The JG Edelbrock and rev hard a a bit more boost orented than the skunk2.
Really there all nice!
The only reason I would not rock the revhard is cause it is sooooooooooooooooo phucking ugly! That round hump on the top that says revhard is really saying cheeply made

With that kind of power it would be real nice to get the Edelbrock or a sheet meatel one like the Str or something. Skunk2 will be a huge improvement over stock at those kinds of power levels. Maybe not as much as the Edelbrock or a sheet metal one but a hudge difference none the less
