Installing a new distributor.....Will i need to go and retune with HONDATA???
I know how to install a distributor and use a timing light. However although i am using a timing light im not sure how accuratly i can adjust the distributor to the setting the odl distributor was on. If i dont set the distributor exaclt where it was before i put the new one on, wouldnt the timing be a bit advanced or retarded effecting the tune? I feel as if the only way to perfectly set this is by reading the hondata.
Am i being too **** about this liek i am with everything with my car? Will the timing light be accurate enough? Im just afraid if its a little too advance that under 14psi it will melt a piston or something.... Thanks all.

If you have an adjustable light it would be pretty easy to put it back exactly where it was. +/- 0.25-.5* of timing isnt gonna hurt anything.

When you had the car tuned... what did you have mechanical timing advance set to? 16deg? If so, just use the timing light to set it back to 16deg.
