I have a Innovative T04E-GT58S with a stage 5 wheel and .63 a/r nonport housing. This is a big shaft turbo, with a dry center section. Good for 80% efficiency and 65 lbs/hr.

this may be a dumb question but if its a dry center, it needs no oil??? how long will it last before rebuilds and what kind of bearings are used.

A dry center section is a center section without water cooling. It still needs oil.

Well, I got a good deal on a gt58s with dual ballbearing center section, so I'm selling my unused one at cost.

Well it depends if you really want if i was going to have a street car and i was going to make 350 to 400 max hp I would run a Street Heat T04E60 / STG 3 / Dry Turbo Assy / Less Lag HSG if I was going to make 400 + hp I would run a Street Heat T04EGT61S / STG 3 Dyn / Dry Turbo Assy / Less Lag Tub HSG or Street Heat 60-1 / Stg.3 / Dry Turbo Assy / Less Lag Turb HSG it all depends also depends on the amount of boost trq and times you trying to achieve ... So many setups so many ways to go but at least if you go with a Innovative Turbo you know you going with the Best..

No its not a 60-1 is uses a gt wheel they have different maps then a 60-1 and support a little little more a hp and have less lag then the sc-61 or the gt3561e but we also have a new turbo coming out soon its a SC61 Killer which is the T04EGT61S / STG 3 Dyn / Dry Turbo Assy / Less Lag Tub HSG which will have a cross of a stage 3 and stage 5 exhuast wheel its for those that dont want to have all that turbo lag associated with a stage 5 exhaust wheel, The new diesign will have fast spooling and able to support High hp numbers ...
