Default Which injectors should I get? VAFC hack soon/EMS when I have the $$

Should I get the 440 or 550 RCs'. I am going to do the VAFC hack soon but going to get the EMS when funds are available. I already have a walbro fp.

Also where should I buy the RC injectors (best price) and do I need peak and hold or saturated?

BTW I have a 99si with greddy turbo

I have read that the afc leaves you little room to play with, with 550cc injectors. So I guess I'll buy 440 and then get bigger ones later.

Unless anyone has used 550cc injectors with the afc. (might want to start a new thread and ask)

BTW, you want saturated, but rc 550cc only come in peak and hold I believe, so you need one of my resistor boxes to get them to work with your car (see my sig)

http://www.camp1320.com has good prices on injectors. </TD></TR></TABLE>

If you have the 550's and you have AEM there no point of buying 440's then going bigger later. Just get the size you need and the tuning will take care of the rest.

A rule of thumb depending on the horsepower you want say 220whp. Always go 120+ to figure injector size. so 220whp+120 =340 so 440's will due. I think Sonny said it that way. And it makes since to me.

Save your money for the ems rather than two sets of injectors. I've got Viren's 550's with an SMC and they work great, plenty of room to work with. If you really want, I've got some of Mike Palm's 450s layin around
