Injector size question for my SUPERCHARGED B18C5
HELP! I'm about to buy injectors to replace the RC SL9-310cc that are ruining my motor as we speak. I can get Precesion (never heard of them) 440cc or 525 cc for a good price but I want to get RC's because of the flow chart and the peice of mind. I don't think that I have an option to get RC injectors between 440 and 550 for my application so my question is.... what should I do??? I estimate around 250HP at the flywheel so I went on the RC site and found out that I need at least 487cc of flow but I thought everyone uses 440's and 450's??? Should I buy the 525's or the 550's??? HELP!
Here's the setup:
2000 C5
Clutchmasters F/C/PP
JRSC @ 9-10 p.s.i. (B20 pulley)
AEM Fuel Rail @ Cam Gears (settings anyone?? JRSC??)
RC SL9-310
JDM 2.5" 4-1 Header
Forged J.E. 9.7:1 Pistons .25" over
OBD-2B to OBD-1 Harness w/ P28 Uberdata chipped
ARP Studs @ 70 ft/lb torque
Greddy Oil Catch can (creating unwanted crankcase pressure??)
So please help me guys.....

Re: Injector size question for my SUPERCHARGED B18C5 (JDMBOLONI)
Precsion injector are and excelent choice.
For a jackson supercharger you won't need over 525 cc injectors. You will need something to control them , ie Hondata, AEM etc and then have the car tuned.
440 cc is enough to make 300whp on a Honda ( We do it all the time).

Re: Injector size question for my SUPERCHARGED B18C5 (CRVRX)
So you guys are saying I can run the 440cc injectors?? But that isn't the minimum recomended size for a 250HP forced induction 4 cylinder. Follow this link and you will find out how to accuratly measure injector size for your application http://www.rceng.com/technical.htm so with that data I think I'm going to buy the precision 525cc injectors. Anyone have other input? Thanks H-T
BTW my calculations were
(250 x .60) = 47 lbs. per hour
3.2
Convert to cc / min: 47 x 10.50 = 491 cc / min
