Default Injector clip question (searched)

so my friend has a 99 si and we cant seem to plug in his seimen deka 550s. i later find out we need obd1 clips. can i go to the junkyard and cut some off a obd1 civic and use those? or do i need to buy the rc style clips? whats the difference if they are both obd1 clips? its easier to run out and get them locally but will the junkyard ones work?

you can use OBD1 clips...

Some RC clips, you may need to trim off a little notch to make it work, but it will be fine.
