Default Initial thoughts on my new boosted honda, and a few questions...

I recently bought a 94 integra GSR-T

A brief overview of the setup: Motor and trans have around 3-4k on them

Stock GSR cams & valves
Ported & polished head,
Type R springs & retainers,
5 angle valve job,
new valve guides,
new valve seals,
new NGK platinum plugs,
new NGK plug wires,
JG Edelbrock 60mm throttle body,
The block has been bored and honed thirty thousands
Nuformz block guard,
CP pistons (9:1 compression ratio),
Eagle H-beam rods,
all new bearings,
new water pump,
new timing belt,
new Type R oil pump,

The transmission has all new gears,
new syncros,
new rods,

Clutch Masters flywheel.
Exedy 6 puck

The turbo setup is:

Hondata
Garret T3/TO4E turbo
Maxrev Manifold
Tial HP Wastegate
PWR Intercooler
Custom 2.25 and 2.50 piping
Custom 2.50 4 bolt downpipe
HKS SS BOV
manual boost controller
Fuel Pump Walboro 255

My initial thoughts are that this thing is awesome! It's the first really "fast" car that I've owned. The previous owner made a dyno run at 16psi yielding 350/270 and a 1/4 pass in 12.3 seconds.

I am currently running just under 12 psi and looking for somewhere around 300/240 when it is tuned. It is basemapped right now at like 14ish psi so it's running rich. I expect to pick up some power after tuning, but it has enough for me as it is now. I can't get traction anywhere in first gear really. Generally i baby it out of the hole, then get on it decently from 2500 rpms to 6500 rpms. If I smash it anytime in first it will spool and wheel-hop horribly. It also hops badly in 2nd and 3rd, but I'm figuring out how to start each gear off relatively easy so i can gain some traction.

I am not sure If I should look into some ITR cams/valves, or use the stock gsr's, right now it makes it's peak power around 8300 rpms, and spools nicely so I may leave it alone.

I do plan on some sort of trac-bar setup such as fullrace.

I am running 205 55 16 falken azeni's up front, and they do ok with the amount of power, but I would like more traction...hopefully the bars will help.

It also has stock cam gears, and I'm unsure If I should get adjustables before I get it tuned....the same goes for the stock FPR. It is running rc 550s in an AEM rail with the stock regulator, so I know I need to pick up an AEM FPR.

If anyone want's to chime in on the cams/valves, cam gears, or anything else...please do.

I am also considering a 3" downpipe and straight 3" dumped somewhere midway back on the car. If anyone has a similar setup, let me know of the power gains.

the z-10 traction bar will probably stop your wheel hop problem, although they're pretty expensive.

get some stiffer motor mounts along with the traction bars and you should have much more predictable traction.

Not everybody can afford to roll around on tires that they need to replace every 3000 miles, keep that in mind.

i thought you needed colder spark plugs for your turbo set up. i remember i read platinum spark plugs in your set up. does that sound right?

as said above, motor mount inserts and traction bars(i have the Full-Race setup)totally eliminated my wheelhop problems...
somebody mentioned plugs.you didn't say what heat range you're running, but NGK BKR7e11 is working good in my car.
i did have a 2.5" straight pipe(2.25" downpipe, then no cat with 2.5" mandrel piping all the way back to a straight thru muffler)exhaust on my car.i went with a electric cutout(about 3" off the turbo, the a 3" turndown).it made the biggest difference in the world!i'd highly recommend this setup,as you can keep a nice quiet exhaust for cruising around, then open up the cutout when needed.

those are the plugs I'm running, suspension is tokico blues, unsure on springs (haven't been able to get to a lift since I got the car)

I'm getting ready to get the ES mount inserts, and a few other small things I need to button up (oil pressure gauge, exhaust manifold gasket, etc)....then I'm gonna get a traction bar setup.
