Let me start out by tell you about the problem that I had at first. I would hit 7psi then drop down to 5 psi, BAH. this is on a greddy turbo kit + DSM intercooler.
The next thing I did was going to open down pipe. I still was loosing boost but not as bad. Now I have a full exhaust minus the muffler(more on that later) and it doesnt do it, but it will creap 1 psi. The creaping could have to do with my cheap *** manual boost controller.


1. Stock Exhaust from 1994 Del Sol - 5psi was fine, 7psi wouldnt hold
2. 2" Open Downpipe, no cat or anything like that. - 7 psi was getting better but still wouldnt hold
3. Full Exahust 2"->mendrel(ms) bends 2.25, no cat,or muffler(working on that) - Best so far, has a little tab bit of boost spike, but it could be because of my cheap manual boost controller.

I plan to put a muffler on it tomorrow. I dont really want to put my fart can back on, but I might if I cant find something off a like a turbo eclipse muffler for cheap at the bone yard.

This has been a massive powergain getting rid of the stock exhaust/cat. I think my cat was gone since I've blow a few gallons of oil through it a few times.

Jesus, you are talking about 1-2psi boost spike.. its not the end of the world.. call it normal on a internally gated turbo

...how do you get rid of boost creep on the greddy turbo kit??? how do you get rid of the internal waste gage?
