increasing my displacement
i have a b18c5 that i want to turbo for somewhere in the ballpark of 400 whp and i want to make it somewhere between 2.0L-2.2L.
i wanted to do a crower stroker kit but i have heard that the kit as well as others have oil problems due to the placement of the oil ring of something like that.
does anyone know of some good stroker kits that dont have oil problems on F.I.??
Whats the pros and cons of stroking vs. boring a motor. (or combining them)

You can basically MAKE a stroker kit to be 2 litre. Boring the cylinders alone add very little torque to the engine (I've found over the years, that from 81mm to 84.5mm, torque only increased by about 20 ft/lbs). Boring WITH stroke, gives a much better torque curve.(Do that, and you're looking at an increase of over 65 ft/lbs).
The best way to make the 2 litre FOR TURBO is to either Sleeve the block to 84mm (since you can only bore to 81.5) and use the Crank from an LS (89mm), and block the oil squirters, OR, use a CRV Block with pistons and rods, and a CRV-VTEC conversion kit.
These options are the main reasons as to why many on H-T don't do stroker kits from other companies. Can't beat the use of Honda OEM. Mitsu guys do the same thing with the 4G64 2.4 stroker kits.

There's no need to stroke it to make 400 WHP or better. I made more than that on a B16. You'd be way better off spending your money on some sleeves. Not that those are absolutely necessary either, but I've always liked the extra margin.

I've never really wanted more torque on my turbo setups, I usually wanted less. Even my B16 had too much torque for street tires. I think that there are some arguments for stroking a motor (I run a 95mm after all), but for a turbo motor I've never really been able to justify it.
