impressions on the Precision SC44 Turbo such as spoolup etc etc...(searched archives)
I searched for a while before posting. I am very curious on how this turbo spools up on a stock block B18C.
I saw arturbo's pics, but I was wondering how laggy this turbo was compared to the SC61 which people say spools fully by about 5000 rpms.
I have seen some dyno figures etc etc, but not anyone saying how well it spools and when it hits 10-11 psi. I am very curious to learn more about them.
I have IM'd and emailed Arturbo, just waiting to hear back from him.
I would love to see how many people run this turbo and their supporting mods...
Thanks

I had this on my car and its basically a 60 trim T04E. Well I was happy with the numbers it put out at such a low boost, but the response wasnt too great. For the same or better boost response I would have gone with the SC61 over the 60trim.

Them let me out the question this way...which of the SC series has quickest spoolup and will hold boost well to redline then? I dont want too huge of a turbo for now...
Or, should I concentrate on a t3/t4 instead then?

I believe people have put out 500-550whp on these.

I have seen them rated to 680hp if I am not mistaken. I am not sure if this is whp or hp at the crank though...
