Im finally done with my project... here is a small review.
So im pretty much done with my setup. After 5 years of hard works, research, learning and MANY change I finally made it !! My goal always been to build a reliable 300whp turbo Honda capable of roadracing at lower boost level but also able to run in the 12's at the track. Now for this winter I just want to make it even more reliable... my oil cooler will receive braided lines cuz I dont trust my rubber lines and my hose clamps, I also want to give a try to a Ingall engine damper to eliminate most of the vibration caused by my inserts. Install my front and rear Ingall camber kits. Run my dumptube into my downpipe and get a resonator, change my Action 2MS clutch for an ACT XTSS and a ACT flywheel. Install my original gearing... now with my shorter gear its just too short for everyday driving. I also want to learn more about street tuning wih the EMS and my WB... well I will be working on the small problem to make my car even more enjoyable.
The onlything I regret and I would change is my turbo... at the begining I was going to go for 350+whp with my SC50 .63ar but finally I learned that I just want a well balanced car so I may change for a GT28RS .82ar T3 dropin if I get a good deal...
I also want to thanks all the Honda-Tech community... thats here I learned all I know now about turbo stuff and real tuning. Its cool for a guy from the Quebec to learn from all the guys who lives from this scene and have more experience... A special thanks to Ben from Importparts who always gived me good deals and awsome service, ELspool who got a similar setup that we could compare our stuff, Tai @ Corsport who gived me an awsome service, Earl who, with his famous Benson block, solved my headgasket popping issue, Tappauto for the tuning and all the memebers who awsered my questions lol
300WHP/224TQ @ 15 PSI
12.4@111mph when I was doing 285whp with a tranny issue... didnt had the time to do the test this year.
D16Z6 Benson sleeved block assembled by Andre Remillard and me.

Zex 59300 cam
PLX M300 WB
AEM EMS
MSD igniton SCI +coil
Crower springs + retainer
Cometic MLS HG
Eagle rods
PWR radiator with a slim fan.
B&M oil cooler + thermostat
Edelbrock IM port matched
SC50 .63AR
Ceramic coated Lovefab SST manifold
Wrapped 3 inch DP
JDM ZC DOHC 3,4 and 5th gear
Omni sport coilover with the 675lbs at the rear and 565 lbs at the front ( btw they are really nice in term of handling capacity belive me but im just disapointed about the fact the some people cracked their front sleeves... )
11 inch front brake ITR caliper
Civic EX/Si rear brake
Cobalt GT sport on each corner
Progress 24mm rear swaybar
HANKOOK Z211 205/50/15

This picture is from last year... so not everything was done...
EDIT :Actual picture of the engine with my installation of yesterday.
Hope that my setup will makes more people goes SOHC, those engine are pretty cheap to start a project and they are also lighter than DOHC so perfect for roadracing.
Merci !!

Dang, wish you had posted like 2 days ago when I was in downtown Montreal. I would have loved to have seen this in person. Kick@$$ build!
Bump for a fellow D booster!
How much to sleeve the block? And how far did you have to strip it to get the work done?

Well 5 years ago I started with the stock engine and a complete Greddy kit, blew the engine, build the engine, made a bigger downpipe, bought AEM EMS, builded a new engine, bought a new turbo + manifold etc... lol the last step took a winter.
