hey all... i had some illegal street drags last nite... kicked ****.. beat eveything i ran.. the closest was a v6 twin turbo soarer.. but I still won.. ehhe

Anyway im blowing some smoke out of my rocket cover air filter...when i accelerate...whiteish smoke.. comes out more i accelerate the more smoke.. as far as how much smoke hummm not heeps but enough to see from inside the car with the bonet open...

i don't have a compression test.. so i can't check that. but im thinking maybe a ring or something has blown... the car is stalling on very low rpm ie below 500rpm.. so iv set my idle up to 1000rpm with hondata.. so that should fix that problem.. she feels when drivin a bit laggy.. but still boosts...

Lucky my engine block will be ready next week sometime.. so in 2 weeks ill start my engine rebuild.. but yeah... i won't **** my head will i... by keeping driving her around ???

and or any other suggestions what it could be.. ?

b/w im running 7lb of boost.. on a total stock b16a engine....using hondata.

Sounds like the headgasket. I would get it checked immediately because you could warp the head driving it like that.

EEERRR, am i the only one who doesnt really follow?
I mean i understand whats going on, but complete sentances would be nice. Im not trying to be a di@k but i really dont follow. Sounds maybr like rings. Have you got allot of blow by?

allso you might find that street racing is frowned upon on this site. Its dengerous and places peoples lifes in jeopardy.

Its interesting how YOUR going to be doing this rebuild, but don't know how to check for a blown headgasket.

Maybe you should invest in some tools, like a Compression Tester & Leakdown Tester.

Do you even have a Helms?

ehhe well im not doin the rebild.. my mechanic is.. ;-) i just buy the parts.. and yeah its very late at nite out here in australia.. so yeah tryin 2 get some tech suport from here..

ok well i checked my oil level. and it was way down.. so yeah thats back up 2 normal now... that might have been what caused what eva.. is the problem...

im blowing a **** load of smoke thow... white smoke from the exhaust.. and white ( exhaust smelling ) smoke from the rocket cover...

so yeah all signs point's towards it being ring's...
i also checked the spark plugs there all fine.. jsut bit black.. and yeah no oil in the radiator and under the oil cap looks fine.. ie jsut oil.. no signs of water...

just hope she lasts the next few weeks.. thats all, but i wonder why i was ultra low on oil...

oh well 1 or 2 weeks untill my new engine is ready to go in so yeah.. ill sit back and hope she keeps on driving.. grrr iv just rev limited my self to 5000rpm and put a 3lb boost cut on my engine.. slow drivin for me.. for the next week or so...
oh well
it will be worth it.. when the new engine is ready !

Crikey! looks like turbo is shot also, if I followed correctly, you have some lame name rocket airfilter? or crankcase breather? if its the airfilter, you have alot more to rebuild than your motor, turbo needs work. your rings and hgasket sound shot also.

I wouldnt drive a wounded bird.. you might have more to fix later on that your not ready for.... park it, find the problem and fix it....

you beat a v6 twin turbo soarer boostin 7lbs on a b16? hmm i find that hard to believe but oh well... and why do you call it a rocket cover? lol i think you should take off your valve cover and check your turbo to see whats goin on.
