iLeaning out.... at only 6psi
Okay... so I just got my turbo in.... it's a turbonetics t3/t4 stage III compressor wheel... and a .63 ar.... i got a 255 fuel pump, im just running a vortech fmu.. anyways... so I set the fpr to 60psi full throttle and it leans out in 2nd and 3rd gears.. like at the end of both... so I can only rev to about 6-6.5k anyone have this problem before btw its in a b16a2 with stock injectors..... im thinking its my timing but thought I would ask to see if anyone else had any ideas... thanks in advance... Mike

the walbro can't supply the pressures required by an FMU at even 6 lbs. Stop boosting until you get this resolved.
12 x 6 = 72 + 43 psi (base pressure) = 115 lbs of fuel pressure that FMU is creating. your walbro is crying...

I still do them. I can also do the one in your car, if you can have your car down for a couple days.

Come on people, if you don't know how something works then don't give bad advice!!
FMU's work with high fuel pressure. A intank will NOT provide enough pressure to supply the stock injectors. You need a inline fuel pump along with a FMU and you will have enough fuel for 7psi. Retard the timing 2 degrees and you will be fine. Many people including myself have run FMU's for a long time with no problems. It's people that don't know what they are doing and end up blowing up their car and blaming it on the FMU is what gives it a bad name

Re: (SP00LIN)
uberdata
550cc injectors
good tuning using wideband
And you can hit rev limiter all day
This is what my friend is running right now too.
FMU Been there, done that and will never do it again, RIP LS.

Well you said you were leaning out at 7 psi, you obviously didn't know what the hell you were doing. You running a inline or intank pump in your past FMU setup?

exactly!
it doesnt matter if i did use the pump. if you want your injectors to explode then you go right ahead yo. not my cup of tea.
