Default Is this ignition system good for 800+WHP?

I just bought a MSD digital 6+ box with a HVC2 coil. I just found out that I cant use the newer HVC coil with that box. I have to use the older blue one. Would this be ok to run with 800+? I have a MSD distribuitor also.

The Digital 7 and 8 cant be run on the street. So my only other option is the msd 7al2 but it is a analog box. I can use the newer HVC coil with this box.

What should I do?

I say go with the M&W stuff. I don't have any experiences with it but a lot of higher hp street guys use it with very good results. I plan on using it too when I finishing building my car, I won't be pushing 800+ though.

Was it the digital plus? What coil did you use?

I would not get any msd box.The m&w is the way to go.When I was building circle track engines I would end up with a big box of boxes to go back at the end of the year for inspection and repair. If a driver came off the track saying the engine was lazy or flat on the top end we would change the box. We would replace the box on our engine dyno every year or anytime we would question the power results.I would not use one or recommend any msd box.
