Ignition issue turbo b-series
Just about finished with a turbo b16 crx project, shooting for 500-600hp but seem to have issues with my ignition.
The car will drive fine sometimes, run fine, then randomly the tach will jump around and the car will die. When out driving and street tuning my tuner noticed that the ignition timing, when the car ran shitty, would go to 27degrees(just cruising).
I have changed..
-3 different ignitors
-pickup
-different distributor(only thing i swapped over was coil/cap/rotor)
-ground wire from the coil to ignitor
I have coil on plug available to me but i want to make sure i figure out what the problem is before i start throwing parts at it. Is it possible that the ECU (AEM v1) could have an issue? What else can i check for?
Any input would help, Thanks in advance.
