ok thats your question...if u could start over...with any engine what would u use...im kinda scaring myself i guess because im pickin up a car with a ls vtec and i havent really seen many people with big numbers using them

the ls vtec will make a ton of power and good torque if the engine is built. look on hondata.com they have a LS vtec tubro setup thats making like 640WHP.

yea this trial user stuff sux...i make a post then i hit my limit
anyway i found that dyno slip....that helps a bunch...i guess ill definatly be goin all out on this motor

i agree...i fully beleive this is the best motor ever built....the power capabilities are mind boggling...9 second passes without ever separating the head from the block

id go with a dart 1.8l or 2.0l closed deck honda block and a worked on non vtec head....the bare blocks are roughly 2500 i think and all stock components bolt to them....with a set of internals, you can make some serious power without the worries of the open deck block....someday when i have more money thats the route im going...

I'm not shooting for the stars, I would keep my resilient lil B18B, it takes beatings like a champ. I am going to get it sleeved and get a semi built head probably 6 months down the road... Basically it all boils down to $$$ for me, I don't wanna blow something I can't afford to replace

dose the b16 head flow better than a type r head?...im gonna start searching on this but the car im buyin is a ls vtec with itr internals and itr head...
