Ideal Exhaust size for boost, 88 crx
HMT setup includes...on a dohc zc
T25 turbo, 450 dsm injectors, talon bov, talon intercooler, factory talon charge pipes, datalogging pm6 ecu, apexi supre air/fuel controller, pressure reg, no wide band.
Down pipe is about 1" at smallest point and 1 3/4" tops in places. 2/25" straight exhaust. Should i upgrade this to 2.5" straight front the turbo back? What type of gain would a bigger piping give me rough ideas

Id run 2.5" downpipe and exhaust with that setup and a decent turbo muffler if you want the keep the noise down a bit. ive never ran exhaust on a turbo car open down pipe works well

Best exhaust is no exhaust But for your setup and goals, I'd probably jsut run 2.5" turbo back. 3" if you really want to. Run a magnaflow muffler with a magnaflow resonator. straight through on both.

There is an axle back stainless steel exhaust on it now. Just the mid section should be replaced. Axle back is 2.5" dia and 4" outlet. Any idea what type of numbers it should put down like 160 whp ish ? anyone had expeneince to guess?
DOHC ZC 1.6 non vtec, @10psi

No wide band. Hooking the apexi controller to the factory O2 wil that read right at all. I've heard alot of factory O2'sensors throwing the air/fuel guages right off and not right, any truth to this?
