Default Idea for a new website... tell me what u think.

Getting tired of answering the same questions over and over again?

i.e. "how do i use DSM injector on my honda?," "how much hp would my stock DX make on 8psi?"

Well, im thinking about putting together a simple (but clean) website containing articles, reviews, how to's, and stuff that I see talked about on Honda-Tech.

I guess, my goal would be... next time someone asked: "how do i install ____" you could just drop them a link. Or next time you needed to check the firing order for your CR-Vtec you could make a quick look.

Anyways... sound like a good idea? is there a website that is totally focused on this already? Or am I just wasting my time.

If so, let me know if there is any knowledgable people that would like to "support" me with articles and such in the future (I will keep you in mind)

you know thats a DAMN good idea. i am honest to god sick of hearing... Can i turbo my prelude and how much boost can i push? How do i make 500hp daily driver? How Do i do this.... Well your idea rocks, but if these people used the SEARCH button then i believe they could find the answer to their problems. I think a board of "how-to's" would be benificial though...

I agree 100 percent... in fact I have often asked those stupid questions (mostly when i was new)...

as far as the search goes, we can all agree that it does not work well. Anyways, even with using the search, we stumble upon a forum. That means these are all opinions and replies.

Someone could ask "how do i use DSM injectors" and there would be 2 pages of answers but no STRAIGHT answer.

So my idea is to take all the info commonly discussed on Honda-Tech... mix that with some good pictures and come up with something refrencable.

Sounds good to me!!! Although I do agree with a seach a lot of questions can be answered, but a good article or review would be better then reading some of these long or confusing treads especially when people go off on tangents.

I think it would be a great idea. There are still some ?'s out there that are past the basics, but there are the common questions and procedures out there that could be covered. DSM.org is a good example I think, theyve got a shitload of information and its well organized. You really need to get the most knowledgeable people in on this tho, bc unfortunately some tries at FAQs with relatively average people writing them dont work out too well.
Good idea tho, I'd help if I could in any way.
