ic, whats too big, too small?
i searched but didnt find like sizing tips. on a b16a with a garret t3/t04e, whats a good size ic with good efficiency? im interested in a spearco ic on ebay, they dont look too bad. what do you guys think of these and whats the recommended size for this set up on a 99 civic si?

For 4-450whp I'd look for something around 24x8x3. PTE, PWR, Spearco etc all make good intercoolers you could look at.

I'd look into a presicion intercooler they have a variety of sizes
just don't go too long or tall for YOUR setup or else pressure drop = teh suck

ive been looking at the pwr 30x6x3 and thats from end tank to end tank and also on ebay ive seen spearcos the same size. what do you guys think of these?

I have about the same setup as you do and this works really well for me this is the reason why i got a body kit is because the front bumper is really open and fit the intercooler perfect

Ill measure my type 24 for you tomorrow and let you know how big it is. It's too damn tall IMHO though. I would guess its about 30-32 inches across from endtank to endtake though.

PM one of the precision or PWR dealers....or if you go to turboneticsinc.com under spearco they have HP ratings for different sizes

You need something like this if you're looking for 500 whp. It's a XS Engineering intercooler. The core is 24x11x3.
