Re: i want to turbo my gs300 (boostedcivicsir)
go to supraforums.com
and go to naturally aspirated. same motor
that motor bone stock on 6 psi tuned will make approx 290WHP
the stock block can take up to 400 WHP however. tuning is essential. plus the GS uses a VVTI mtoor. the OBD II sysytem is very veyr picky on that car.

NO. Supraforums suck the best help u can get for turbos is honda-tech. anyway you have the VVt-i 2jzge boostlogic, soundperformance and toyomoto makes kits for your car but be warned if you wanna retain the vvt-i function U cant run a standalone, you have to use a piggyback. while AEM has vtec code down pat. they cant seem to get vvt-i to work for your engine. also be warned that vvt-i motors have lighter rods and the pistons have a shorter skirt. they wont like life over 400hp. however the tranny will be fine with additional coolers.

You have to be registered at supraforums to see any thread. if you are already registered I can link you to some posts. yes HT has a few idiots but nothing like SF. One thread I remember off the top of my head a guy wanted to know if adjustable cam gear are worth it. the response he got was "No because they will change cam timing under boost and you will lose power"
NOBODY corrected him. they pretty much agreed. and nobody proves or test anything there, everything is based off speculation and word of mouth.

Re: i want to turbo my gs300 (Boostage)
Sometimes people say stupid **** like that on h-t too, you are generalizing too much about SF. There are people on there that are very intelligent also. Some of those tuners/shops on there have 800, 900, 1000, 1200, 1400+whp cars. I would think they know their stuff.
I would also maybe check is300 forums and clublexus and other lexus forums. I remember a fuccin SICK gs done by a shop who is here on h-t also. It made 600whp on pump and 800whp on race gas or something like that. There were a few videos posted as well. Search is not working for me right now though.........

U get to choose what parts u want. click the link inside this link http://www.clubna-t.com/forums...t=155
but u can save tons of money if u do your own kit.
