this is BAD ***!
You should also get the "ALWAYS ON VTHEC" Then you'll start creaming WS-6's
P.S> The whole thing is sarcastic even the Vt"h"ec. If you really want the sound you have to get the turbo . Look at the seller's comments. Some people said it sounds like *** or doesn't work.
If you are scared of real turbo because of the $3000 you shouldn't be. It can cost as low as $1500 if you want. I've seen one guy spend $790 (i think...i know it was in the $700 range) Just make sure you have good fuel managment (not FMU basically). Read around you can do it cheap!

most large turbochargers, esp. a ball bearing and twin inlet anti-surge housed unit.... will be very loud.
edit: how can people shell out 3-4k for a turbo alone... thats hella.

My FP3065 on my eclipse is just as loud as a T51R, guess why? Anti-surge compressor housing. Run a turbo with an anti-surge comp housing and it makes it a TON louder.

Re: i want the t51r turbos sound (Finest)
Threadjack, but anyone care to give a bit more detail on what makes a turbo housing anti-surge?
I.E. what is different about it, and when specifically is it designed to prevent surge? Are we talking surge from crossing the surge limit on its compressor map, or surge from letting off the gas w/o a BOV?
Thanks-
Matt
