So i got this car Feb 4 and i want to turbo it stock. i got the car for $4,900 (cheap) and it came with

Spoon sports short shifter and ****.HIDs.Type R vavle cover.#1 Exhaust.Injen short ram intake.Alphine head unit.

i have only put a 12" L7 in a probox

the car runs good and i want to turbo it stock but i dont know how many psi is safe..what you guys think??






I would like the car to make a little over 200hp

i asked a local and he said i could run 5psi and make lower than 200hp and all for $4,400 i thought it was expensive what would you recommend?????????

For real though man. You are obviously a nub, which is no big deal. It's just gonna take you a while to get up some knowledge so that you are comfortable in your decisions. Read the FAQ's. You will learn a lot doing just that alone. Once you have read through there and have questions then post them up and we will be more than happy to assist you. You need to at least read them though because we like people who try for themselves first. It makes us much more willing to help.

buy a peakboost system. that sucker makes like 20whp per pound of boost. its only like $2700 now its on sale. its the best bolt on system money can buy.

Haha seriously dude, you can get 350 hp easily peice together a kit with 4,400.

If your serious about only wanting over 200 hp then look into some gt22's they might put you a bit over your goal, but that's not a bad thing. MORE POWER!

this is where things get weird with numbers... when you sit down at your PC... standard day is 29.98 milibars or 14.7 psi at we feel on us... so when your car is WOT and it goes from a vac to an almost stable positive psi and its at 200whp... if you force half of that 14.7 into your motor 7.35psi of boost it should give you 100whp.

We've done a ton of stock b16's and hit 300+whp with 10-11whp on peak-boost kits. 7-8psi will get you around 250-270 depending on which turbo you go with. Whoever gave you the information about 200whp doesn't know what they are talking about. Check out our site for dyno charts.

Its a very efficient kit, BUT, I suggest you do your research before you start buying parts for your car, to familiarize yourself with turbocharging. There are alot more variables to consider than just bolting up a turbo kit.
