Default I think im leaning out..

I just got my drag III working...my distributor shorted if you remember the other post...but my autometer a/f reads like in the middle of stoich, but when im boosting, it goes down...to lean..now this is only SOMETIMES...normal engine temp and everything..motor is warm..there are no kinks or anything in the FMU lines. I have no FPR or anything, just the fuel pump and FPR that came with the drag kit. So, am i just watching a "light show" with the a/f gague, or is it true that im leaning out. Or is the only solution going to the dyno and hooking up a wide ban..my wallet cant afford the greddy gague..
thanks

Make sure your fmu lines aren't backwards (in going to out and vise versa)

Check the ground on your a/f meter, my friend had the same problem with a jrsc, we thought it was the fmu but it was really the ground on the a/f gauge was incorrect, so when his lights were turned on it would do exactly what you described. It needs to have its own ground to bare metal, not tapped into another stock ground wire.

i checked the ground...it is grounded properly, the FMU is right, I dunno, my 02 sensor clip is melted a little bit, so when i reconnected it-it was hard to connect..ill check that too...
