I think I have a problem with my Wastegate.....
Well, I was running real low boost .08-.12 bar because of a leak in my IC piping, but now I can only run .27-.28 bar. Before I fixed the leak, the turbo spooled fine and I didnt hear the wastegate opening. Now tho, I can hear the wastegate opening, in what seems random intervals. And it opens right before the max boost is attained (.27bar, etc.) Does anyone know what could be wrong?

id say, make sure you dont have too many things t'd off the same vacuum source, and it could be leaking, so you could take off the gasket between the WG, and manifold, im running mine with no gasket, and havent had any probs yet!

check on the color just to make sure it's not lower.. is it an open dump or routed back into the exhaust?

i had the same problem running only .2 bars when the spring was rating at .45..
what i did was use a bike pump to pressurize all the plumbing and intake manifold along with the vacuum lines and found the leak through the EGR. I ripped that out because that was leaking and now no more boost problems.

i was thinking it was a boost leak somewhere, but i KNOW the wastegate is openning and the idle is normal.
