Default I searched :( Who has eliminted traction probs on street with 500+whp ?

I am sure these cars hook up at the track, on big M&H slicks, but what about on the street? Has anyone sucessfully been able to put 500-600whp down, from say a 60 punch? I understand a 255/55/15 drag radial is a good start. Im sure this topic is beat to hell like everything else that is posted on any forum, but if it's in the search function, I didnt find it. I'm also a newbie to the forum, so that is probably why.

I might be wrong, but I dont think any car eliminate traction problems on the street with 500+WHP. You can try to minimize it but you cant get rid of it.

Obviously traction problems arent eliminated. What I'm looking for, is a definitive answer that says whether or not a 500+whp civic/integra can hook up atleast below 70 mph given the right tire/trac bar/suspension set up. Is this unreasonable? Who doesnt like to give their high hp car a good romp on the street every now and then

with the aem ems, you can use traction control if you have the wheel speed sensors.

which has me thinking. i have a 99si. non abs. what do i have to do in order to use the abs wheel speed sensors?

AEM traction control function does not use or need a wheel speed sensor to work

the orginial poster, the only way I get to get traction with a 500+whp street car is with a boost controller. keep the boost low until you get traction that then turn it up. a boost control that has gear based control, or ever vehicle speed

really? i always thought it was wheel speed based, or is it done off of vehicle speed vs. rpm?

Tein/DC2/ Omni Power Full Coilovers
Full Race Traction bar
BFG Drag Radials
Has-port 70 Race Mounts
Limit Straps

Should be fun on the street and hold ok power
it does depend on ur turbo as well with a SC61 when u hit full boost on 500whp + car, ur tires are going to go up in smoke anyways

just some goodies that will help some with a turbo car

Use a gear/speed dependant adjustable boost controller...
