I need to know where to set my timing and cam gears for a 96 Drag III LS?? Can you guys please tell
Hey i am gettin my drag III kit installed right now and the guys at the shop want to make sure that everything will be ok when they start it. Right now i still have crower 6403 cams in there so i know i have to advance my exhuast and intake cam gear to get rid of some overlap, i think i will set it around +3 exhuast, +4 intake and as far as my Timing foes i think it is advanced a few degrees now, should i have them retard it, and to what spot. I will be running around 8 psi all the time so whatever i should set it at let me know please! thanks a lot

Why guess and check? Pay a little money and put it on the dyno and find out where to really put it.

put your timing at like 15. for the cam gears, you will have to get it on a dyno.
