i need help from those of you with 600hp+
Im almost finished with my b series quest for 600+hp. I've been researching but can't really find much info on what kind of fuel pump to run. Those of you who have reached 600+ what fuel pump and size of injectors are you running. Im thinking about getting either id1600s or id2000s but I don't think the walbro 255 is going to keep up. Maybe a aeromotive a1000? Suggestions please. Even if yours is not a b series chime in since it doesn't really matter since all motors are the same in the aspect of an engine needs x amount of fuel to y amounts of air to = z hp

I have an A1000 and have had no issues with it at all. If you are running E85 i would definatly recommend running ID2000s. As far choice of pump, If I were to do it again I would have gone with twin bosch 044's. Its alot cheaper and I wouldnt have had to buy the aeromotive pump speed controller. Aeromotive says to not run the A1000 for longer than 45 minutes on full duty cycle.

Re: i need help from those of you with 600hp+
I made 565 whp on pump gas with just the Walbro 255 lhp in-tank pump and still had some room to spare. But keep in mind it also depends on how your motor is built. My motor is fully built, best parts out there, bored & stroked, Pro 1's, etc. Not every motor will make that kind of power with just 1 pump.
I have since added an in-line Bosch 044 pump in my engine bay after the fuel filter and am pushing just over 600 whp. Might not have needed the bosch, but it's a nice safety catch to have.
So I'd reccommend just an in-tank Walbro and an in-line Bosch 044...both very very easy to install. Just make sure you get the relay for the Bosch.

^^ Yeah, I saw that car in person run at last years IFO. it was truly amazing to see that kind of power out of a single slammer. If I remember correctly, they spit that block in half!

Basically the 255 freeflows at really low PSI feeding the 044, and the 044 makes the pressure for the system. at lower pressure the 255 moves quite a bit of fuel
