I need help!! RC 550 injector seals

I need some injector seals for some 550's. The factory injector seals are too thick for the injector to go into the intake manifold. I have searched.

-Can someone link me to somewhere that has a seal kit for my problem?

-Can someone give me a part # for a seal that they know works from autozone or somewhere?

-I know i can dremel them out but i just don't want to.

TIA https://honda-tech.com/forums/images/smilies/emthup.gif

p.s. NO "friend did this" or "I heard" please

put some motor oil on the seals. also, it helps if you stop being a pussy and push them down with the rail.

will go in no problem https://honda-tech.com/forums/images/smilies/emthup.gif

well i ran into this exact same prob about a year ago when I first went to my rc550's I searched and searched and couldnt find shit, finally I decited there was no way a little thing like this was gonna hold me back, I just used a dremel to wallow out the center of my old ones. I was dead set against riggin em up for a while, but it just seemed like to easy of a fix to let it hold me back any longer. It worked perfect and is still holding up fine. just take your time and there wont be any probs https://honda-tech.com/forums/images/smilies/emthup.gif

wait what exactly is the problem? the seals wont go into the mani or the injectors wont go into the seals? you should install them in this order.

1. put the seals in the IM
2. put the injectors in the fuel rail.
3. put the rail on the IM and center the injectors in each seal.
4. tighten rail and make sure injectors stay centered. the injectors will sit on top of the seals not inside. they are suppose to be that way.

i can link you to the RC instructions if you have anymore questions i just dont have them on this computer.

so you were talking about the seals in the IM? what was the problem. everything supplied from RC should work just fine
