Default I need a bin/chip - B18C1, Victor X, 1000cc's, GM 3 bar

Looking for a BIN file of someone that had there car tuned or atleast all the idles and everything worked out. Just needs to be a basemap so I can drive 4 days to work then to my tuners (2 hours away) Hopfully someone has something that matches my specs or close to it, I wont be using boost if possible but it might see one quick run down the street to make sure my gate opens at what I want it tuned for. my main concern though is I need a bin to run with all the lower RPM's tuned pretty smooth so it is driveable for the time needed.

Thanks

how soon do you need it? The 1000's are being tuned here in like two weeks or so.

Go to the Uberdata site and download it. Then go in the n00b forum and read the how to make a basemap post. Then read it again to make sure you got it and make your own basemap. Use the injector scaler and step retard recommended in that same thread.

That is probably exactly when I will need it, please let me know when you have it

I know how to make basemaps, I have the Uberdata program but with injectors as large as these I doubt its going to idle even remote to being close to how it should idle without playing with it for a while, If I get one thats already been tinkered with it should be pretty close. Without having a romulator it will make it hard to work out the idle. I dont even have a chip burner - will be using a buddys.

So you would prefer to risk your engines life on what someone sends you on the Interweb instead of spending a couple hours tweaking your idle. Its your motor not mine.

nevermind then...mine is for hondata. But yea, I would not suggest taking it to the track on someone else's map until its tuned for you.

And I'd *really* suggest NOT using Uberdata with a GM 3bar and 1000cc if you value things like idle.

I'm tuning a *built* 2L GSR w/ 1000ccs and AEM 3.5 bar MAP sensor. I spent about an hour last night ******* with Idle, ECT enrich, IAT enrich and minimal driveability. Then I set the fuel pressure where I wanted it, and all went to hell...

I'd honestly throw smaller injectors in the car or trailer it if you have to go as far as you say. I personally think testing out your wastegate on a basemap is asking for trouble.

But then again, these are opinions.
Then again, the quality of basemap makes a big difference.
Then again, your tuner should have supplied it.

See I am will not be boosting, I just need something with a fairly clean idle and out of boost maps to get to the tuner and such. I would use stock map and injectors buy I have to wire in a resistor box and splice in a new pig tail so I want to make sure everything is good with no CEL bevore i drive to CT to get it tuned and find out it needs something I dont have with me.

He will supply a basemap but he does not know how it will run, he says it will run the car but hes not sure if it wil idle or anything, thats why im looking for a chip that someone has already worked out those bugs or atleast have them close enough to not have to worry about stalling, cylinder wash, anything like that.

I would end up spending more then a couple hours trying to get it right as the chip burner is 30-40 min away from me and my car wont be able to be at that shop to keep making chips. If I had a romulator id try and play with the idles enrichments and stuff but I dont have one

Advice: Get a set of OBD0 injectors (OR non-turbo DSM) as they are 240cc just like your stock ones, but low impedance so they will work with the resistor box. Changing out injectors is cake. I'm sure you can find a set for cheap/free.
