Default I Need BaseMap Help - 2.5 bar install - OBDO, Never tuned before

Im very very new to tuning

I went to a tuner a week ago and tried to tune my car on a 3 bar but it just wouldnt work, car wont idle, car wont run, but it did boost ******* great

So I bought a 2.5bar kit from xenocron, comes already solderred with a red/white/black wire which I will try and figure out myself

What I need to know is what kind of basemap do I need, theres all this ng60, ng48 etc etc

Ive never tuned a car nor really read anything about it but I cant go without a car for a few more days so I just want to get it running

My car is an 88 Crx si, d16a6 running turboedit on a chipped pm6, 450cc injectors, forged internals and a delta 272 cam and some nice head work with a t3 .60/.63 turbo and 3" downpipe

Can someone help me out as to what i need to do to get this into my car (I have a moates burn1 here and a zif socket in my ecu)

Thanks

Im very very new to tuning let just say that, these are the first 10 maps Ive burned
I went to a tuner a week ago and tried to tune my car on a 3 bar but it just wouldnt work, car wont idle, car wont run, but it did boost ******* great
So I bought a 2.5bar kit from xenocron, comes already solderred with a red/white/black wire which I will try and figure out myself (done now)

I then picked up the ng60_splittime basemap off of xeno's website and tried it out, the idle was hunting everywhere from 500-1200, a/f from 14.1-15 but the motor was shaking pretty good, vacuum was dippin around and well it just ran like ***

I richened it up by 15% to 12.5:1 and the idle seemed to stay more in one spot, but still hunted around, rocking the motor and the vacuum stil took dips form its normal -17 into the -10 area

Then I tried to take away 15% and the a/f went to 18:1 and the motor didnt like it and it keeled over.

I figured I better make a post

The car is an 88 Crx si, obd0 with a d16a6 engine vitara pistons and eagle rods, built head, delta 272 cam. T3 .60/.63 turbo and a 3" open downpipe. The ecu is a pm6 and the injectors are dsm 450's

Can anyone help me get this idle sorted out? Once I get this and sorta understand it I might be able to fix my axle problem, then i can deal with partial throttle tuning

ps-its cold as fawk outside @1am

Thanks guys

Ok, i'll try to add some input real quick. My car idled in the -27 field in TE... the 2.5bar headers are WAY off. If you are using the -17 - -10 area to adjust idle... its a problem. A hunting idle will usually be something else also, IACV to start.

Try the datalogger included TE on pgmfi.org. Get datalogging up and maptrace it... you'll see how off the headers are with a 2.5. Then tune for that.

Just remember... each car is different. My car ran like stock on that map, doesn't mean anyone elses will.

I cant do dataloggin

The idle isnt like its hunting from the iacv, ive had that before, this is not a paterrned shitty idle, it just moves around and a little stuttery and the motor rocks then the idle dips way down etc etc

how do I smooth it out?
