Default I need advice of what turbo I need for my setup?

First off I have searched, but I cant read compressor maps. I need to match what turbo I need for my set up. Right now I have turbonetics t3/tO4e 57 trim 63a/r stage III. This turbo is really laggy on my car, I was thinking of switching to a 48a/r to get a faster spool on a more usable rpm range or switch turbos. What is your opinion should I switch exhaust housing or turbo and what turbo do you guys recommend? Thanks for all you help and opinios> PS Im reving to 8k HP goal is 350 but more power is alwasy welcome.

I was told my .48 would fall off on the top end while shooting for 350, and to switch to a .63.

How about running a 55 shot on it to spool the turbo? I might do that.

I dont really want to do nitrous, I was told this turbo can support 500,if thats true then 350 is should be no porblen and the compressor 60a/r is big for higher rpm range

trade me for my BB turbonetics t3t04b it spools very quickly and you could push it to 300

The least expensive thing would to just switch out the turbine housing. Much less expensive than going ball bearing.

I've got a.48 A/R on my 2.3L (that's the factory set up) and it comes on like a light switch, but I'm not making the power you are.

Just be sure it's machined specifically for that wheel.

When will the .48 turbine housing reach it's limit? It's what I've got on my turbo LS...I do love the response.

Accidently deleted my last reply

If you are not ready to purchase a turbocharger I would follow Rod Short's advice. If you are talk to a Garrett/Precision dealer, Arturbo/ForcedAir/Flamenco-T/TheShodan/Full-Race Motorsports/SPARK RACING INC./This One/Tinker219 and others, and they will be able to properly size a turbocharger for you.

We (Trip, Blown90Hatch and I) are going to be testing a GT3255E on a Wiseco/Eagle D16 here soon. I will let you know how it goes when I can
