Default I just picked up a Holset H1C... Should I use this?

Im just wondering if anyone has used a H1C (similer to HX35) Holset turbo on a B18 before. Im just wondering how the spool is? Is this a T3 or T4 flange? Shoul I use a oil restrictor in this or just run a 3an or 4an oil line. I got the turbo very cheap off a friend so i figure I can give it a shot. Anyways what are you guys opinion of this turbo? I am planning a built ls/vtec with a one-fab top mount manifold I am hoping for the 400hp range, will this turbo provide me with what I want?

It's a t3 flange
It won't be necessary to run a filter on the holset
and depending on what it came off of - the H1C can have anywhere from a 12cm^2 turbine housing all the way up to a 21cm^2 turbine housing.

If you call holset and give them the assembly number - they can tell you EVERYTHING about it.

Very good customer service at Holset

My Holset HX35 w/ 14cm^2 turbine housing will be on in less than a month.

Going to see what it's made of - hoping for 550 + hp.

I like the HX35's. Cheap, and for a budget big HP setup, you cant beat it.

A friends LSvtec on OEM internals, B16 cams, log mani and an HX35 recently made 321whp on 13psi. Spool up is a bit soft, but the TQ hits right after crossover at 5300.
Youll like it.
