GT28rs turbo's make very good power upwards of 300+ whp with supporting mods and a built to fully built motor if using a b18c or c1. But depends on what engine you plan on using the GT28rs with. A completely stock motor (b18c/c1) with a GT28rs with a good ems and tuning, I would expect 250+ whp.

For VW's its an awesome turbo, one of the very popular turbo's used amonst VW owners. I myself drive a VW myself as a dd, check my sig. Great spool and hp, a very good turbo to use if your not looking for very high hp like 400+ then your talkin a bigger turbo like a GT30 and up with a built motor and tune of course.
