This car is gonna do good next year. If they plan on running it. But from what i read it sounds very promising.

It sort of takes away from it when GM builds it though. Their resources are so unlimited. I like the grassroots approach better. Still 650hp isn't bad. I wonder if it has those worthless cupholder indentations on the inside of the glove compartment like every other GM vehicle has.

well the article failed to mention that the engine was co-developed by Lotus.
but yeah, its GM building a full on race car... something like steph's newest car with Honda's full sponsorship. i mean if its a major car company building something, they kinda have an unfair advantage...

Hey. How many lbs are you running with that Supercharger? Any problems with the tranny?
I got an automatic and I'm going to be getting turbo. I heard that those trannies are weak. What do you think?

Re: I gotta give it up to the GM guys on this one (D-SPEED)
i met a guy from GM while at Hot Import Daze. He was all up on the domestics! Taking pictures of the fixed up foci and especially anything by GM. Turns out that he is one of the concept car guys and is obviously in charge of the sport compact segment. Anyways, thats just an idea of how badly GM wants a piece of the sport compact pie.
LA AUTO SHOW! The cavalier there was simply AMAZING! Not to mention the malibu.
Also, all over the world, but here Cavaliers are a big hit. Apparently in the east, its way more popular than the west. And in japan, its a freakin TOYOTA!

the cavalier was at sema and it damn looked good. But they never showed the motor to anyone back then. Now they releasing it slowly as you can see.
600hp in sunfire should be for some good racing action. If anyone seen this car run in test track locally i would like to know what it did.
He says he is out of san antonio texas.
