Stopped by Benson's to drop off my ls block today.

Dan's new toy The cnc of all cnc machines, only one in Cali!

This thing is bad ***! It can deck and bore in like a couple of minutes. It can also be programmed to do stuff like remove web on blocks that cause clearance issues for turbos, machine out dowel holes for block girdles, line bores, valve seats, etc. Maybe his turn around time will be like a drive through at a McD's. Dan says he'll be getting a new machine for hones too! I forgot the model number but it can probably be programmed to make a billet block not bad for $120k. This thing will rotate the block and machine what ever he wants to exact tolerances! His previous blocks are done just as meticulously but now can be done in lightning speed.

I heard about this. Now the blocks will be stamped or engraved with benon's name on it.

Just had my GSR block Benson sleeved. Earl tells me mine was like the last wave of blocks done by hand.

I want his stamp on my block, Im gonna send it back.

yep, and to those saying it's expensive... at ~$1000 for benson sleeves he only need 120 orders to pay it off ! (I know the sleeves also cost money..lol)

I want some Benson sleeving, I hear it's the best.
