OMGhi2U!!!11!1 Im loving this. I cant believe how much of a diffrence just .5bar will make on my motor. Traction in first gear is non existent. It will spin the tires in 2nd gear at about 6500 rpm's too. I was skeptical about how a turbo honda would would feel, but all doubts have been erased from my memory. I took one of my V8 friend for a ride and he was very impressed. That made me feel real good. This turbo took alot longer to put in then I thought it would though. Took me two days of work to put it in. About 12 hours each day.
Setup is:
MaxRev kit
DSM 450cc injectors
AFC hack (pulled about 4 deg from the dizzy) -35% all the way across the board.
Car is a 2000 civic SI
Im also tuned very rich right now. Im reading about .96 volts off of the o2 sensor at WOT. And this thing still pulls. I can wait to get to the track to see what it will run.
I would like to thank everyone on H-T for all the informative posts. If it wasnt for this place I would have probably paid someone to put the kit on for me. But now thanks to everyone of you around here I dont ever dare let someone touch my car anymore. You guys are great. The is the most informative forum I have ever been on. Keep up the great work guys!!!
And last but not least THE PICS!!!!!! http://www.kuecker.net/images/....html

Re: (RenoRacing)
good stuff! Especially for installing it yourself. I couldnt have done it either without honda-tech. Oh yea, dont turn up the boost too much when u are craving for more. Many people can speak from experience.
BTW, that napkin over the turbo isnt gonna filter the air too well

LOL!! Im gonna get some sort of standalone next though.
As for any tips on installing the DSM injectors I would recomend not trying to get the injectors in by tightening down the fuel rail. Try to get everything to sit flush everywhere, then tighten everything down. I made the mistake of tightening down the fuel rail to push them in.The fuel rail was at an angle because of that and bent the top of every injector. (Im so ashamed of that mistake ) Luckly I had 2 sets of them. Being prepared > *

another tip, an OBD1 conversion. You will pull a code 13 on OBD2b (barometric error). Nice man. Glad to hear you like it

Mine is like 8 x 20 x 2.5 or so. I got this kit like a year ago from them. So it might have changed.

have fun the maxrev is a great kit thats what I had my first time around but other than that I would get hondata thoose vafc are good but you can get more precise with hondata or to the extreme with aem ems.
just think about it why would you spend 3 or 4 g's and then decide to manage all thoose parts in a cheap way. Tuning is the most important bro have fun

Its kinda hard to hear it over an open downpipe. But when I do hear it I love the way it sounds. Pretty quiet too.
And yes better fuel managment is next on the list. The AFC is temporary. Ive already ordered my wideband.
