Default I got my turbo in the mail today...

My garrett 57 trim .63 ar came in the mail today...

At the end of that shaft it looks like cut off, will this cause any problems? Thanks

hey im no genius but id think this would cause balancing issues and cause hte impeler to tear itself apart

that "cut" on the end is actually how they balance the unit and is normal.

someone correct me if I am wrong. you should be good to go though.

Anyone no where to get a gasket for between the downpipe/turbo and also the manifold/turbo...

also bolt size/threads for both...

As everyone else has said, it was ground down for balancing purposes and isn't a concern; however, i haven't seen many turbos with that much material missing due to balancing...
