Default I got my SC61(52e) Now I have a ?

I just received the precision SC6152e today and its a little different than what I expected. I thought that they come with the 5 bolt exhaust flange but mine came with the 4 bolt. Is this the T04 housing? Which one is better for making more power? The 4 or 5 bolt housing?

Thanks

bump... I was also wondering, the wheel should spin freely by hand right? The one I have will spin a full turn then stop. Is this no good?

You will have to run an external wastegate with the 4 bolt turbine

Put some oil in the turbo and see if it's still hard to spin.

New turbo's -- especially t3t4's -- need a quick breakin. My garrett said that any t4 housing they sell will be tight until it has a few miles on it. Run it for a day or so then check again, mine didn't spin to much out of the box, now it spins at idle on my d.

When my sc61 was brand new, it did not spin at idle. After a week of driving, now it spins freely at idle.

You can choose which turbine housing you want when you place your order. There is no power difference between the 4-bolt and 5-bolt housings. Just personal preference.
