I finally ran my car tonight
Well after all these months of building her up I got a chance to run it tonight. My boost controller was all messed up so I couldnt run over 8-9 psi. No matter what I did it would not adjust. Im running the Turbo XS dual stage controller and neither low or high settings would adjust.
On my best run it spiked 10 psi and held 8-9 the whole time. That netted me a 12.40@112.17:
60 1.878
330 5.238
1/8 7.99
MPH 88.96
1000 10.393
1/4 12.409
MPH 112.17
All in all I am very impressed with the car and the way it ran tonight for only being 8-9 psi max. Heres my LS-VTEC set up:
83mm GE sleeved B18a bottom end
JG proseries Head (B16 head)
T3/T4E turbonetics (specs unknown)
rev hard log style mani
open dp (3 inch)
JG Victor X intake mani
Spearco front mount
Hondata 3bd
MSD 720 cc
Quaife LSD
Clutch specialties 6 puck
lots of other little stuff too
This was my first time out on slicks ever. I ran on 25x8 M&Hs. With more practice I could have gotten to a 1.7 considering my first run i had a 2.1 60 ft and my fourth and last run i did a 1.8. Im gonna get that boost controller fixed, crank it up to 20 psi and see what happens.

Congrats Jr! That's impressive for only 8-9psi too! I can't wait till you get all 400whp down to the ground and get some times! If my car get's FULLY TUNED tomorrow then I may run at MIR on Sunday myself.

WOOT WOOT!. man I remember just a couple years ago when no imports ran there. The only race was the battle of the imports, and then you had midnight madness which was basically a bunch of stock neons and accords. Id love to see your car run there
EDIT: good time by the way Boosted99Si

Nice to see another ls/vtec turbo doing well at the track. Im heading up tomorrow to my local track and hope to hit some times close to that, considering i'll be running 22x8x15 slicks.

How were you launching on those slicks did you have the 3 step?

yeah im running the hondata launch control . I had it set at 6500 and I didnt dump it but i let the clutch ut pretty quick and it worked out pretty good. It took me like 3 passes to get used to the slicks they are way different than street tires.

I ran my car this afternoon also but couldn't put down similar numbers to yours unfortunately. Im also running 9-10 psi boost and have a very similar setup. I ran it for the first time on 22x8x15 slicks that a friend was nice enough to lend me and hit a shitty 13.8 @ 101mph after only 3 passes. It obviously takes pratice cause it was totally different than running regular street tires. Running on these slicks was my first time, i loved it but was disappointed with my time. practice, practice, practice....i guess.
