I cant get my manifold bolts off....
What the hell am I supposed to do? There are four left that I cant get off.....if I break them off to get the manifold off can I just go to Honda and get new ones.....do they just screw into the head, or are they permanent......I have tried numerous different wreches....let them soak in WD40 for about an hour but they still wont budge. They are 12mm, but my 12 mm wrench is stripping them....11mm is too small, 13 is too big...
Basically I want to know if I do break them off can I just get new ones??

yeah they have them at honda, well there are two studs and the rest are bolts......the problem you are going to face is getting the bolts you break out of the head....

This is on a DRAG manifold...one of the bolts is the one right above the dipstick....and three of the top bolts... I cant use big tools to take them off.

If you ever get them off, put anti seize on em and itll never be a problem again.
I use it on anything I want to be able to get back off.

you can try to cut the nuts off of the studs, once you get the manifold off, you cna use a vice grip to back the studs out and replace it...
or use a dremel and creates a slot so you can back them out slowly with a flat head screwdriver...
trust me, I have done this 3-4 times...and yes, drag is a bitch to get it off due to space

torch works good with the little bit, or a plumbers torch at home depot. Keep one in the garage just for things like that. Works great.

LIQUID WRENCH! It's MILES above WD40. Trust me on this, It will work miracles. Buy some, soak it, Tap it with the wrench a few times. COMES OFF IN 5 minutes! I didn't beleive it at first either, but my dad brought it out to help me out. Broke my manifold loose, my friends, got 2 o2 sensors out of 100,000 mi manifolds, and broke my turbo's bearing section from the exahust housing with it! Liquid wrench baby!

I had a lot of trouble with removing my bolts, and the suggestions provided here DO work. Get liquid wrench or Pb catalyst; it works much better than wd40. Get a big breaker bar if it'll fit in that area. For me the thing that did the trick for the manifold though, was turning on the car to heat up the bolts. Expanding the metal for some reason works.

running the car for about 10 minutes plus liquid wrench and a 6 point socket = "meeh, that wasn't too bad"
Unless you've stripped it too much already..
