How much of an diameter should the i/c piping be. Is it boost dependend, hp dependend, turbo size dependend? I have the DRAG III piping, how far would you go with it?

Thanks

I'd have to say HP dependant and how much actual CFM you are pushing. 3" is more than enough for most high HP applications. But generally 2.25-2.5" piping is good enough for most of us

my new turbo will flow about 50-55 cfm. I dont know how much my actual turbo produce. It is standard DRAG III turbo form Turbonetics.

you sure about that?????? 50 -55 CFM sounds awfully low a to06 18G pushes 650cfm @15 psi and I am sure what you have is quite abit larger.

2.0"-2.25" from turbo to intercooler, turbo compressor outlet is only 2.0"-2.25". 2.5" from intercooler to throttle body, throttle body is only 2.5".
