I bought a set of IB spec I beam probe rods for my all motor b16..Now that im going turbo..I dunno if I should use or sell them in favor of H beam rods.

Any of you guys used I beam rods on FI?

2 notes:

1) Honda uses H-beam rods stock.

2) Most other car makes do not.

Not much information there, just trying to say that either type of rod is just fine as long as they are rated at the amount of torque you will produce.

My stock honda rods are I-Beam?

Some are, some aren't. Honda is the only OEM that I have seen with stock H-beams.

I can honestly say the same.

F1 motors are I-Beam, so are Aluminium rods, well the ones with beams.
