I am officially boosted, pics inside
Finally got the turbo installed, everything's runnin along peachy. Thanks to this forum (and search!!!) I was able to get all the numbers and parts I needed (thank you ImportParts, turbonetics...) and everything was relatively painless. All the I/C piping was made by us and we had to modify the downpipe to fit right (added a flexpipe as well). The wastegate is a 6.5psi spring and i'm showing 5.5 psi after the I/C and piping. Let me know what you think!
I am the master of flex loom... those are brand new injectors and wiring. Go me.
Again, thanks to everyone in this forum that helped (even if ya didn't know it!)
The full setup:
Portflow B16A head, JUN springs, GSR valves, stock Si cams
B18C5 bottom end (stock)
B16 tranny, Kaaz LSD, ACT HD PP, JDM ITR clutch face
T3/4B, we pulled it apart and it looks clipped. Full boost is at about 3800 RPM
Drag 3 manifold, downpipe
custom intake (actually part of a 2 piece AEM CAI)
Hondata 3B, DSM 450cc injectors
DC catback (yes, I need a bigger exhaust)
Defi boost/EGT gauges
C's DPS
Z10 Radius Arms

Re: I am officially boosted, pics inside (SlowB16)
So what fuel system are you using? I see the B&M regulator, but that is all I noticed....

Re: I am officially boosted, pics inside (On Point EK)
The I/C piping is mostly just pieced-together sections of bends that we bought at a local performance shop. Its aluminized steel, painted hi-temp black. The inlet is really short, about an 8" pipe, 2" I.D. and the outlet is 2.25" and we basically used the same route that my CAI used.
Fuel = Hondata and DSM 450s, B&M FPR (til I can afford an aeromotive).
Thanks for the kind words, this one's for honda-tech. EV.

Re: I am officially boosted, pics inside (ElectronVTEC)
Nice Setup. Only thing you may want to be careful of is, your oil supply line. I had mine about that far from my wastegate and the exhausted gases caused my line to crack over a period of about 3 months. Especially with a 6psi spring, at WOT, some seroius gases are going to shoot outta there. Just a word of caution. Again, clean setup.

Re: I am officially boosted, pics inside (integracon)
Thanks for the tip, I'll try to come up with some sort of dump tube for the W/G or maybe route the line in back of the gate. Thanks again! EV.
