so i am turboing my car next month or sooner
i need help to see if i am forgetting anything
parts i have:

hf manifold
hf to tdo5h adapter
td05h turbo: no shaft play
450cc injectors
resistor box
intercooler + charge piping
oil feed line
oil drain line
tapped oil pan

parts ordering soon:
digital boost gauge
wideband a/f ratio gauge
street tune my ecu from a friend

wat other parts do i need? one of my friends said that i need a apexi avc-r gauge

you do not need apexi.... You need a chipped ecu. send it out or buy one from a tuner. Then go get a tune. do some more research before starting your project. it will help you

An AVC-R is a boost controller. that's the last thing you need now. No S-AFC either. get a chipped ECU and a tuner to help you CROME (sp?)

I find it easier to remember if you know what it stands for... Cui's ROM Editor... that's why it's CROME and not CHROME

thats everyone. currently i have a crome chip thats tuned and i am going to have the guy redo the chip or watever...should i have datalogging on the ecu/chip or watever?

might wanna look into buying a oil filter sandwich plate for the feed line...ebay will do just fine...

what are you doin about downpipe? i recommend puttin a flex pipe in along the lines..

blow off valve?..

pleanty of vacume line....

what waistgate are you gonna run?..

how many pounds are you gonna run.. you may need a 3 bar map sensor....


just a few things to keep in mind and think about.. im not too sure what your gonna be running...

oh ok is the sandwhich plates plastic? the one from glowshift

i think i am going to take it to a shop and let them make me one since i have no idea how to make it.

what vaccum lines do i need? i think i have a couple

i am running the stock on from the turbo i think its 7-8: td05h 14b

3 bar map sensor? when my car gets tuned dont the guy like put it in?

just buy misc lines of vac line.. pick up some t fittings.. and if your running 12 or more pounds of boost youll need a 3 bar....
you must purchase it and put it on or they'll charge you an arma nd a leg..

your better off just buyin the glow shift one.. there perfectly fine.. its gonna be the same price to have one made

you can pick up a 2.5 motorola or 3bar gm really cheap on ebay

stock map sensor only reads 11.xx pounds of boost... buy a 3 bar gm off ebay...50 bucks.. allows up to like 40 pounds.. youll never have to buy one again....

but from the sounds of things i really think you should start reading up before attempt this
