in all fairness, he never mentioned anything about street racing. stock evo and sti are weak. they run mid 13's at best. ive seen an sti that couldn't break into the 13s even (weak driver at the high school drags)

does that describe "flare"

a car that runs mid 13's from factory is a weak car? How much do you have to spend on you car to run that? Evo and STI both gets my respect

I had a chance to drive an evo pretty hard two weeks ago and I would say power to power a 280 whp+ honda (thats integras, civics less hp) should take it 4wd and all. Thats a conservative guess. Im sure it could be done with less hp, a well set up car and good driver etc.

3 of my cousins have evo's and my uncle just sold his WRX and bought an STI, all i have to say is the launch is AWESOME...but after that it some what feels like a slug. even with the rated 300hp of the sti, that car is just too damn heavy!! both the evo and sti both take off on me, but everytime by the beginning of 3rd gear(gsr tranny, for perfect turbo gearing + quaife) i pull past them. but i always keep in mind that all of my cousins' and my uncle's cars are mainly stock with the exception of boost controllers, bov, downpipe, exhaust, filters.

$500 if you have your head out of your *** and didn't start with a heavy Pigtegra. Two weeks working at McDonalds would cover it. I did it, and my boy Atlee did it for that price.

I hate the WRX based on all the Suby-boy jockers who own them here. All are ignorant, all are slow. I know a couple of 2.5RS guys who are right on time, had one hand me my *** coming down Town Moutain Road because he was a far better driver, but the WRX is ****... sorry to go OT, but the mention of those cars annoys me.
